Design, Energy, Environmental and Cost Analysis of an Integrated Collector Storage Solar Water Heater Based on Multi-Criteria Methodology

چکیده

The paper presents a design and operation analysis of an Integrated Collector Storage (ICS) solar water heater, which consists asymmetric Compound Parabolic Concentrating (CPC) reflector trough, while the tank comprises two concentric cylinders. annulus between these vessels is partially depressurized contains small amount in bottom outer vessel dominantly contributes to heat transfer from inner cylinder. A multi-criteria optimization algorithm applied re-evaluate specifications parabolic surface, thus modifying entire ICS system predict necessary number units for achieving highest possible effectiveness with minimized fabrication costs environmental impacts. footprint device assessed through Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). produced thermal energy conjunction economic results are evaluated as function different configuration parameters regarding storage conditions, radiation total pressure inside annulus. ultimate aim evaluation process offer new perspectives on principles environmentally friendly cost-effective devices improved performance.
